Love, Light, Peace, Mercy and Grace
I have great memories of Aunt Anne and Uncle Gene coming to visit us in Ontario when I was young. In later years, the visits were to us in Nova Scotia. I’ll remember Anne as always being bubbly and fun, with lots of family stories to tell. My favourite times were seeing all the siblings get together – they had such a love for one another and all had a wonderful sense of humour.
Sending condolences on behalf of our family to you, Karen and Bob and to the grandchildren and great grandchildren who loved Anne too. She will always be fondly remembered by us here in Canada.
So sorry to hear of Anne’s passing. I was super happy to get to know her and her family while she lived in Groves Point, NS. She always told us as kids that she couldn’t share what her occupation was with the CIA- she would tease us and say “If I tell you, I’ll have to shoot you!” That made her one of the coolest ladies I knew at 10 years old as a mega James Bond fan. Farewell, my cousin, the “spy”! Hope you are enjoying your new home on the otherside and the neighbours are better than they were in Groves Point. My condolences to all of her loved ones on behalf of Billy Nicholson’s family, Michele, Stef, Kyle and Ryan. Hope Dad gave you a warm welcome when you arrived. Love to all! 💜
Our heartfelt condolences are sent to you Karen and your family. Anne was one of the strongest and most determined women we have ever known. She and your Dad were so good to us when we visited them in Delaware several years ago. She was a wonderful story teller and such an accomplished writer. We have re-read her memoirs several times and always enjoy them. Please extend our sympathy to your brother, your children, and your beautiful grand daughters. She loved you all so much. Rest easy Anne.
Love and Prayers
Ann and Sharon
