Arthur Eugene Quinter, 86, of Pinellas Park, FL, formerly of Braintree, MA died September 3rd, 2020 after a brief illness. Arthur was born May 1st, 1934 to the late Henry and Aurora (Martin) Quinter in Attleboro, MA.
Arthur was a veteran of the US Army, a graduate of Bryant College and retired from the Eastco Company of Westwood, MA where he was an officer of the company and Director of Information Technology. He was devoted to his wife and family, an avid Boston sports fan and enjoyed traveling. He was known for his quick wit, smile and kind and compassionate spirit.
He was the cherished husband of 59 years of Mary (Murray); devoted father to Robert of Braintree, MA, Susan Burke and her husband Albert of Carver, MA, Karen Kiser and her husband Stephen of Polk City, Fl, and Joan Jacobson and her husband Jake of Plymouth, MA. He was the beloved “Pepe” of Jessica and Jodie Quinter, Stephen, Michael and Ryan Burke and Emily and Alyson Jacobson. Arthur was also survived by 5 great grandchildren. He is survived by his cousin Rita Lambert of New Hampshire and was pre deceased by his sister Doris Curran and his Aunt Bernadette Sanford and Uncle Eugene Martin. Burial to take place at the Bay Pines National Cemetery in St. Petersburg, FL.
A memorial service with Military Honors will be held at Bay Pines National Cemetery, 10000 Bay Pines Blvd, St. Petersburg, FL 33708, at 9:00AM on Monday, October 12, 2020.
