Barbara “Mamsie” Masque, 86, passed away on February 11, 2018, at the St. Petersburg General Hospital. She was born in Milton, Indiana and had lived in Florida for nearly fifty years.

Barbara was a beautiful person inside and out and was loved by her brothers and sisters, kids, grandkids, and great grandkids very much. She loved spending time with them whenever she could. . She really enjoyed taking her grandbabies and great grandbabies to the beach and pool with her.

She loved people and liked to entertain them with her beautiful voice. She sang with some groups down on the beach back in the 70s.  She loved singing!!  She also loved her hats. At one time she had 50 + hats. When she lived in Treasure Island, the Treasure Island paper did an article about her and her hats. She was lying down on her side all dressed up with a hat on and the rest of her hats were laid out around her. She had her beautiful smile on. It was a beautifully written article and the pictures of her were gorgeous.

She loved the sun and was always at the beach or the pool. Barbara never learned to swim; but, that didn’t keep her out of the water to cool off. She always had a beautiful dark tan. She loved taking weekend trips to the beach and stay in a motel just to get away.

She loved music, singing, dancing, and reading her books, her plants, playing cards, board games, dice games and games inside and outside.

She loved to cook and we loved her cooking!!  She made her “Pastizza” and we all loved it!!  Anything she made was the best!

Her first job, when she moved to Florida 50 plus years ago, was with WSUN radio station. She was their Charity Promotions Director and loved it!!  She had a life in the law field and worked for Attorneys, Judges and before she retired she worked for Gulf Coast Legal Services for 15 years.

We all love her so much.  She will be missed.
