Brad Dent, beloved husband, father, son, and friend, entered into eternal rest on the evening of September 29th. Brad often spoke of the Streets of Gold, and now he is walking them. His deep love of Christ and God’s Word was evident in his teachings, words of wisdom, and his life. Born on September 26th, 1954, Brad lived a life full of passion that touched the lives of many.
Brad is survived by his loving wife of thirty-nine years, Dianne; children, Angela Goff, Pamela Norris (Griffin), Jennifer Lindsey, and Zachary Dent (Kelly); grandchildren, Michaelia Brown, Lauren Brown, Tyler Norris, Elijah Lindsey, Alaina Norris, Sophia Brown, Micah Lindsey, Leia Norris, Patrick Brown, Emma Dent, and Olivia Dent; brother, David Dent; and many other beloved family members. His impact on his family leaves a legacy that will continue to enrich the lives of others for generations to come. Brad was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Phyllis Dent, and his brother Richard Dent (Rande), as well as many beloved dogs.
Brad’s love of gardening showed in his and his children’s yards, as he worked tirelessly to share his green thumb with others. He collected puzzles and hats, and loved to display them to visitors to his home. Brad traveled the country in his RV enjoying his beautiful country one state at a time. The Bucs provided hours of entertainment as he got to cheer on his favorite team.
Brad’s Celebration of Life will be held at Lutz Family Church (960 W Lutz Lake Fern Rd, Lutz, FL 33548) on Friday, October 4th at 2 PM. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the church’s Cuba Mission Fund (960 W Lutz Lake Fern Rd, Lutz, FL 33548) or Crossed Paws Pet Rescue (2720 Havendale Blvd, Winter Haven, FL 33881).
Want to send my condolences to the Dent Family. Our hearts go out to you as you go through these times. Mr. Bradford had to be a great man, father, husband, and so much more!
Love and respect
Aiden, Gloria, and Tripp
