Brian C. Keene, 64, of Bradenton, FL died August 29th, 2022 at the Bay Pines VA Hospital. He was born on March 29th, 1958 in St. Petersburg, FL to loving parents Donald and Anne Wyllie Keene.
On June 6th, 2009, he married Diane Seiden Keene at Anna Maria Island. They shared 13 years of marriage.
Brian served in the US Army from 1976 to 1979. He worked in Bradenton as a plumber for several companies, his last being Wyman Plumbing where he worked for 20 years.
He lived in Bradenton, FL for all of his life. He was an avid fisherman, and loved working with his hands to create many projects, such as cornhole boards for his children and friends. He was married to the best catch of his life. He always shot from the hip, to where you knew where you stood with him.
Brian was always willing to help his family and friends. He would give you the shirt off his back and drop everything to help a friend. He will leave a great void in the hearts of his family and friends. He lived as he loved, always happy and laughing. He would jokingly say “And whatever you do, don’t have fun!” He made sure he ended his phone calls and partings with “I love you!”
Brian is survived by his wife, Diane Seiden Keene, sister- Joanne Robich, sons- Thomas, Korie, and Michael Keene, daughters- Alisha Keene and Ashley Wiggins, stepchildren- Rosie Ferrett and Billy Cole, grandchildren- Audrey and Allyson Ferrett, Vincent, Chrystal, and Charles Keene, and his dog- Josie.
He is preceded in death by his brothers- Randy and Donald Keene.
A celebration of life will be held in his honor on September 18th, 2022 from 5-8:30 PM at Bayshore Gardens Park and Recreation Center, 6919 26th St West, Bradenton, FL.
