Rock on in Heaven Brother. See you at The Jam !!!!!!
Rest in Peace, Dad. You fought a good fight, and now you and your son, Brooks, Jr., are together again.
Brooks, last time we spoke you were at ease and seeking peace from Drama. I hope your final hours were peaceful because you deserved that.
Rest in peace and give Brooksie a hug for me.
Liz
Condolences to friends and family. First of all, I would like to thank Brooks for his service in Vietnam. He was under 18 and fibbed about his age in order to serve his country. Brooks and I were friends, and at one time brothers in law. He could make you laugh hysterically. When we were younger it was so much fun following him around listening to his bands play rock n roll and watching him play the drums in Ohio. Later on down in Texas, Brooks and I worked a lot of different jobs in construction together. He played in bands all around Port Aransas. Lots of fun. Lots of laughter. He’s with Brooks Jr in heaven now, and I’m certain he’s putting a band together, too.
Always a brother, always family. I’m glad to have known him,
Steve Austin
