Bruce W. Miller passed away peacefully on April 19, 2021 in Tarpon Springs, FL. Born in Rocky River, Ohio in 1945, he was the son of Floyd and Virginia (Schurdell) Miller.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Mary; their three children, Kim Warp, Kelly Miller and Mike (Stacey) Miller; and five grandchildren Peyton, Pierce, Cruz, Kenna and Brooklyn; and his siblings Craig, Dean and Carol. He retired in 2004 from General Motors after 36 years of employment, serving as Personnel Director at several different plants during the latter part of his career. Mary and Bruce later decided to move to Hudson, Florida. Bruce was an avid fisherman and hunter who enjoyed annual fishing trips to Canada with his family. He was also a proud Viet Nam era veteran of the U.S. Army earning the rank of Sergeant. He will be sadly missed by those who loved him.
Bruce will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery on Friday May 14th at 1:30pm. Military honors will be handled by the US Army Funeral Honors Team and the Sumter County Memorial Honor Guard.
