We regret to announce the passing of Bryan Heyl, age 56, on January 12, 2022, after battling liver failure.
Bryan was born July 19, 1965 to Jack and Katy Heyl in Falls Church, Virginia. The family moved to Pensacola, Florida in 1976. He graduated from Liberty Christian School in 1983. After Graduation he attended Pensacola Junior College.
He then moved to the Tampa Bay Area where he began his career in insurance. He worked most of his career as a claims adjuster. Bryan was a dedicated and hard worker all his life. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He had a dry wit, wicked sense of humor, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and had a zeal for life. His favorite hobbies were fishing with friends, working on cars, and watching the Bucs.
He is predeceased by his father Jack Heyl and survived by his mother, Katy Heyl, siblings, Sherilyn Cacic of Tampa, FL, Matt Heyl of Toccoa, GA, and loved ones Michele Janowsky, Kaitlin Janowsky and Alyssa Edgar of Phoenix, AZ. We will have a life celebration service on March 1, 2022 at 2 pm at Pop Stansell Park (Shelter 3), Palm Harbor, FL. Following the service, we will be scattering Bryan’s ashes at Crystal Beach by the Live Oaks, Palm Harbor, FL; a meaningful spot to Bryan for several reasons.
