Calvin C. Pugh, 91, of Tampa, FL passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2015 at James A. Haley Veterans Hospital.
He was a Army veteran of WWII and later enlisted in the Air Force to be certified as a refrigeration mechanic. He retired from Winn Dixie as an A/C Regional Supervisor after 38 years. He was a member of Forrest Hills United Methodist Church, Tampa, and a longtime volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. He enjoyed gardening and tending his citrus trees.
Cal was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce, in February. Survivors include his son, Gary of Tampa; two daughters, Karen Blair of Land O’ Lakes, FL and Linda Pugh-Petz of Stuart, FL; brother, Robert of Reform, AL; sister, Frances Langford of Tuscaloosa, AL; and granddaughter, Jamie Pugh.
Graveside services with military honors will be presented at 10:30 AM on Friday, July 3, 2015 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.

Sorry to hear of your loss. My father passed in January at the age of 90. He was retired military and fought in WW II also. It is never easy to lose a loved one, but perhaps you can find comfort in the fact that he had a long life. Thank you for your service Mr. Pugh..RIP

Thank you for the kind comments. My Father was a wonderful man… very giving and pure of heart. Honest, kind, full of integrity… would give his shirt off of his back for you. I was so lucky to have such a great Father.
