Carl Gonzalez, 47, of St. Petersburg, Florida passed away on March 29, 2015. He was born on January 17, 1968 in Brooklyn, NY, the son of Henry C. and Rosemarie Caruso Gonzalez, and lived most of his early years in Mount Sinai, NY. He was married to Jody Freitas Gonzalez and was the beloved father to his only daughter, Hailey Ann Gonzalez, and brother to Henry Gonzalez and wife, Vera.
Carl was a loving man who would give you the shirt off his back. He was a Jack of All Trades and worked in the restaurant business as a bartender, server and caterer, and had a wonderful touch for decorating the décor of his yard and home. Carl was always the life of the party and wanted everyone to have a great time and feel comfortable. He was an animal lover and, if it were up to him, he would have taken in all the strays in the neighborhood. He also donated his time to feed the homeless and provide clothing and words of wisdom to those he would try to help.
Carl was loved by his family; he had many kind and caring aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents who adored his heart of gold. His cousins will miss his pearls of wisdom and life lessons he shared.
Carl will be missed by all for the joy he brought to everyone; may you rest in peace until we meet again.

Dear Jody, Hailey Mr and Mrs Gonzalez and Henry, Im so deeply saddened of your loss, I just recently received the news and am crushed in my hart that we all lost Carl. I will always love the times and pleasure the times that I had with him. We lost touch since he moved to Fla. but he was alway and will always be very dear to me! He is in my prayers!
