Carol J. Foos, 86, of Orlando, Florida passed away on January 20, 2023, at the Oviedo Medical Center, Oviedo, Florida. She was born on December 27, 1936, in Galion, Ohio to Vincent and Marion (Mount) Willacker and was a homemaker, loving wife, and devoted mother. She loved many things, including her family, friends, dogs, swimming, and ribs. One of her real joys was when the family station wagon was pulling a pop-up trailer. The family traveled to many parts of the United States and visited 40 states. On all of these trips, Richard (her pre-deceased husband) did all of the driving until the boys finally got old enough to drive. She loved Danielle Steel books, Ribeye steaks, and never meet a carrot cake she didn’t like. After they retired, they attended the square dance convention all over the United States. Carol loved to square dance and always had plenty of dogs around her and really enjoyed living with Chris and Rick in Orlando, Florida.
Predeceased in death by her husband, Richard in June of 2019, she is survived by her loving family: sons- Tim (Sharon), Rick, Bill, and Chris. Chris and Rick, daughters- Marci (Jason) Nelmida, Wendy (Michael) Nagurne, sister- Judith Willacker, brother- Terry Willacker, 4 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Graveside services are 11:30 AM, Friday, April 7th, 2023, at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, 5525 US 1, Mims, Florida 32754.
