Carolyn Shirley Peterson, 87, passed away on December 7, 2016. Carolyn was born on October 5, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois a daughter of the late Louis Pote and Ethel Volkman Pote.
She was a bank teller and cafeteria worker. Her family remembers her as a loving, giving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Besides her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by two daughters; Cindy Ann Seaborne and Debbi Newell.
Survivors include her husband of 68 years; Raymond Peterson of Largo, two sons; Raymond K. Peterson “Buddy” and his wife Christine of Seminole and Jeffrey Troy Peterson and his wife Robin of Clinton, Tennessee, six grand daughters and 10 great-grandchildren.
Auntie Carol was a beautiful person that left us with wonderful memories. God blessed us with her and now she is at her permanent home in the loving arms of our God. She will always be loved and missed by us all and never forgotten.

She was the best mom anyone could have,caring,giving,loving, and above all she had a giant heart. Mom will be greatly, greatly missed. I love you, see you again.
