Catherine Natale

Catherine Natale, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home in Clearwater, Florida, on April 21, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on July 13, 1947, in San Ferdinando, Reggio Calabria, Italy, Catherine was the daughter of Vincenzo and Nancy (Bottiglieri) Piccolo. She spent her early years in Italy, where she cultivated the passions and values that would shape her life.

In 1965, at the age of 18, Catherine made the brave decision to immigrate to the United States, bringing with her dreams of a prosperous future. She settled in New York, where she worked diligently in various roles, including at a clothing factory, Brookhaven Memorial Hospital, and Dagoda Fashions. Her keen sense of style and entrepreneurial spirit led her to open her own boutique, Catherine’s Fashions in Pinellas County Florida, which became a cherished establishment in the community.

In 1975, Catherine and her husband, Pasquale Natale, made the move to Florida, where they continued to build their life together. The couple married on November 17, 1973, in Patchogue, Long Island, New York, and enjoyed 51 years of love, support, and partnership. Together, they raised their son, Bryan Phillip Natale, who would grow to be a source of pride for both Catherine and Pasquale. Catherine’s heart was further filled with joy with the arrival of her granddaughter, Isabella Liana Natale, who brought light and laughter into her life.

Throughout her life, Catherine was not only dedicated to her family but also actively engaged in her community. She was a proud member of the First Assembly and Woodlawn Church of God, where she found her spiritual home. Her faith was a guiding force, inspiring her kindness and generosity toward others.

In addition to her work and community involvement, Catherine had a variety of interests that brought her joy. She loved clothing and fashion, cooking delicious meals for her loved ones, and traveling to new places, always eager to experience life to the fullest. Her warm personality and infectious laughter left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, Vincenzo and Nancy. She leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience, cherished by her husband, Pasquale; her son, Bryan; her granddaughter, Isabella; and many friends and family members who were touched by her vibrant spirit.

Her proudest achievements include opening her clothing boutique, adopting a child, and becoming a U.S. citizen—milestones that reflected her dedication to family, her entrepreneurial spirit, and her love for her new home.

Catherine’s family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all who have shared in Catherine’s life and legacy. A funeral service will be held on May 17, 2025, to celebrate her life and the enduring love she brought to those around her.
