harlene Marie Baker was born January 7, 1973 to Edward and Marcia Tabbert in Toledo, Ohio. She passed away suddenly on November 12, 2017 at the age of 44.
As a genuinely happy person who was full of life and energy, she was loving, caring, passionate, beautiful, faithful, dedicated, loyal, honest, trusting, adventurous, active, a hard worker, a family woman, prompt & compassionate. Char, was simply the textbook example of a great wife, daughter, mother, sibling and co-worker. While she did not deserve to get cancer and succumb to it in such a short time, she would want her battle to remind everyone to love each other, treat each other with kindness, and to explore the world and have fun while you can. She was a true servant to others always putting the benefits of others over her own. This amazing woman was an inspiration to us all and she will be sorely missed. Charlene, you will be loved forever!
Family
She is survived by her husband Bryan Christopher Baker; parents Edward and Marcia; son Joseph Pawliski; daughter Samantha Pawliski and sisters Donna, Theresa, Brandy and Brittiany.

My deepest sympathy on the loss of Charlene. I worked with her at Great Lakes Corrugated in Toledo. What a genuine good-hearted soul. You now have a special angel in heaven watching over you.
My beautiful best friend, I loved you and still do. You meant so much to me and cared for the kids and I. You are truly missed. I know you have your beautiful Angel wings now. I was honored to know you. You were taken to soon. Love always Kristen
As with so many things, regrets that I was not able to spend more time to know you better. In the time I did have to know you, you were a wonderful and supportive presence. A genuine, warm smile, and a positive outlook that helped make the workday a bit easier. Your presence is sorely missed, and will always be remembered fondly. Rest peacefully and in joy.
You were sharp, bright, friendly and a huge asset at work. You will be irreplaceable there, and more importantly in the hearts and lives of everyone who knew you. Rest in peace, Charlene.
YOUR SMILE, YOUR JOY WILL BE GREATLY MISSED. PRAYERS OF COMFORT TO BRIAN AND FAMILY IN THIS TIME OF SORROW.
sorry for your loss if there is anything we can do let us know, again sorry to hear about char.
Rest in Peace Charlene. As my Customer Service Rep for 3 years, Charlene was by far the best I have ever seen at her job. She educated me, was patient with me and as I often told her “you have helped me more than you can imagine”. I will miss her quick smile, dedication and determination and her outstanding assistance to our customers. I was simply shocked at the sad news that we all came to hear and because of it have re-dedicated my life to doing more things now rather than later and to be more giving as Charlene was. God Bless Bryan and the rest of Charlene’s family and I know you are smiling down at us!
I worked with Charlene for 3 years in Toledo at Greif Packaging. She always was a fine example of professionalism & dedication to the company & her work. I still today many years later reflect on the great work team we had there. Life is so short – cannot believe she has passed on! Thoughts & prayers to all members of the Baker family.
Charlene was always positive and found the best in every situation. She taught me how to be a good sport and how to be compassionate to everyone – even those that didn’t seem like deserved her compassion. I will certainly miss your constant smile and encouragement!
To my sweet cousins family sorry to here about char you are in our thoughts.and prayers love you
II Corinthians Chapter 5
Verse 6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body,
we are absent from the Lord.
Verse 8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be
present with the Lord.
