Charles “Chuck” H. Etzler, 88, of Clearwater, FL passed away on Tuesday, January 12 , 2016 at home.
Born in Cambridge, MD, he moved here from Mchanicsburg, PA in 1972 when he retired from sales after 15 years of owning his own business. He was an Army veteran of WWII and a member of the American Legion Brandon Turner Post #7 and the VFW Post #10304. He enjoyed playing cards, traveling, boating and socializing with friends at the Chic A Boom Room in Dunedin, FL. He enjoyed Country and Western movies, Elvis Presley, and was an avid Baseball Fan.
Chuck was preceded in death by his longtime companion, Audrey Govan in 2010. Survivors include his daughter, Linda (Steven) Tilley of Palmyra, PA; stepson, Denis (Julie) Govan of Dunedin; sister, Margaret Meek of Naples, FL; and brother, Robert Etzler of Myrtle Beach, SC.
Chuck will be laid to rest at Largo City Cemetery with Audrey.
Very sorry for the loss of a fun and caring uncle. Will miss him dearly.

Chuckster was a long time member of our bar family. His smile and jokes will be greatly missed by my staff and our customers. He was one of the sweetest guys I have ever known. From all of us at The Chic a Boom Room, thoughts and prayers for the loss of one of our own.
