Christopher Bryon Waltz

Christopher Bryon Waltz, 34, of Winter Haven, Florida, tragically passed away on November 21, 2022.

Born on May 17th, 1981 in York, Pennsylvania, Christopher is the son of Joseph Waltz and Michelle Barnhart-Kirkley.  He grew up in York, Pennsylvania but spent most of his life in Baltimore Maryland before moving to Winter Haven, Florida.

Christopher is survived by his wife Jennifer Waltz, step-son Christian, daughter Emma (Trisha), father Joseph, mother Michelle, sisters Gabrielle, Ashley, and Amber. His grandmother Janie (Alan), several friends he considered family and extended family members.

Christopher was a Chef who honed his career over the years he spent in a kitchen both at work and at home. He loved performing as TRNCH. He was a Lyricist since a young age and contributed that to the knowledge he gained while going through struggles and watching others struggle. Because of his character of helping people when they are down on their luck and his natural charisma, he never met a stranger and would be there for anyone who asked and found great friendships because of this.

He was a lover of nature, cooking, his Yorkshire Terriers, books, traveling, and music, and performing.

There will be a celebration of life in Winter Haven where he was set to perform and Baltimore, Maryland. Details will be updated here. Please check back regularly.

When I was on the way to my sisters in Ga … I got the call. Then I had to make two heart breaking phone calls after that. One to your mother and the other to your grandmother, so she would be able to console your mother when she called. To say that I was shocked, was an understatement. You were just here. You were just at the house. We just cried and laughed together about my mother and her goofiness. I am thankful that my mother went first, because she was there to comfort you and show you the way, as I know you would have done for her if the roles were reversed. I have cried every day and every night thinking about you. My heart breaks for the young, talented, good hearted man you were. You had SO much to live for. You left this world way too soon but I am thankful that I was able to be apart of it. I will forever cherish our years together. The laughter, the pain, the weak times, the strong times, all were in love and I will miss every moment. I love you.

Our condolences to the Waltz and Kirkley family. We were
neighbors for 5 Years. we had the pleasure of Interacting almost on a daily basis, we would watch him mowing the lawn, no shirt headphone on, deep in his music or quietly rapping his song. He never hesitated to greet you every time he saw you. when I would hear his Rap music on TikTok it would make me smile. He was genuine when he offered to help you. His wife Jen is a phenomenal women. A woman who is compassionate, caring, loving ,funny, a loving daughter.
creative decorator they made such a beautiful pair. RIP,Until we meet again at Rap Heaven.

  • Jess says:

Chris and I go back many years. We were birthday twins, he is 1 year younger. There are so many memories I have with Chris. From field hopping to different parties as a teen, to sitting in the recording studio listening in awe as he laid down his newest track. Seeing the love and pride in his eyes when his daughter Emma came into the world. Watching his passion and dedication to food and music grow. Overcoming countless adversities and really growing into the newest, most amazing version of himself, one that those who were closest to him KNEW was there…long before he did. Chris and I had a friendship that miles of distance couldn’t diminish. We talked to and checked in with each other a few times a week. You could count on Chris to tell you how it is, whether you agreed or not. But no matter what, he was always in your corner..always had your best interest at heart. Chris had the BEST laugh and a smile to kill. I am grateful for all the years we had to make memories…its so hard to realize those days are done..time cut way too short. I love you ❤️

  • Lane Davis (L-Roy) says:

I didn’t know Chris (Trnch) personally. I discovered him on Instagram while setting up a show in Winter Haven and was incredibly impressed by his music, so I invited him to be a part of the event. Its unfortunate that he wasn’t here to perform because I know for a fact the crowd would have reciprocated his energy with the utmost respect. He was a very talented artist and after meeting his wife and talking to his family, I can tell he was very loved and he loved with his whole heart. I really wish I could have had the chance to meet him in person. I will keep him and his family in my prayers. Rest in peace Trnch.

Chris, we never lived in the same house, but you always made me feel like your sister anyway. You showed care for the people in your life and brought joy into every room. I love you and know that you’re resting in peace.
