I didn’t meet Chris until my/his later years working together. He traveled the country, at times making coast to coast trips in his vehicle to get the job done – amazing stamina and drive. I loved his passion for the team, the common goal, and ability to share ideas.
He spoke fondly of his times on Lake of The Woods, boating/fishing with his kids when available. A truly good guy, dealt a rough hand, who did his best. Condolences to his children. Your Dad will be missed, we lost a “good one”.

We never met Chris, but felt like we knew him through Alyssa and Jacob. He raised a wonderful daughter that found our son. So thankful for their relationship and she’s a gift to our family❤️. Our thoughts and prayers to Alyssa, Aaron, and Grant-gone too soon!

Chris was a great friend while serving with him in VS31. We did 2 MED cruise on CVN69 Eisenhower. We also spent many days together while in Jacksonville. We even drove to IL for Thanksgiving in 1987 fron Jacksonville. After the service we were able to hook up a couple times in both Memphis and Tampa while I resided there. Chris spirit lives on and will not be forgotten. Reat easy fellow Topcat!

I hadn’t thought about Chris in 30 years until I read about his passing. As with the military we often meet each other and go our separate ways, but Chris left such an indelible impression on me, I was immediately taken back to the times in VS31 deployed with Chris on the Eisenhower. His smile was infectious, and I remember his buoyant personality always making us laugh. I’m sorry I didn’t get to stay in touch with him over these past decades, and am jealous of those who got to share his time. RIP shipmate. Fair winds, and following seas.
