Colonel Terrell E. Parker, 82, of Riverview, Fl died on February 1, 2024 following a brief illness. He held a Bachelors degree from Providence College in Rhode Island.
On April 17, 1941 he was born in Providence RI to Raymond F. Parker and Margaret M. Parker (Pike). He married Beatrice M. Valentine on September 29, 1962.
He is survived by, his sons Terrell E. Parker II (Alma), Keith J. Parker (Victoria) and daughter Cheryl MacColl, 4 grandchildren and three Great Grandchildren as well as his brother Raymond F. Parker Jr. and his second former wife Laura Ballou.
He was preceded in death by his former wife Beatrice M. Parker and his brother Donald R. Parker.
He worked as a Human Resources Director for the shrine and Director Human Resources for the city of Woonsocket, RI
His military career spanned 33 years, enlisting July 8, 1958, and serving in the 25th Infantry Division. He retired from the military on July 31, 1991 as a Colonel in the Military Police.
Prior to his military service he worked at a printing company and the post office in RI.
He was a Past Potentate in the Rhode Island Shrine and a 33 degree Mason. He was also a Past Master for Mount Moriah lodge in RI.

Colonel Parker was a true gentleman and officer.
I can say, my quality of life today at age 60, is intertwined with Colonel Parker’s leadership in the Rhode Island National Guard.
I spoke with him a few times over the last year, always—ENJOYED his friendship.
