Dan D. Stevens, 91, walked into the embrace of his Savior November 13, 2022. He was born in Sparta, Michigan, November 3, 1931, to Dorthis Snyder Stevens and Maurice Stevens. Dan was a building trades teacher and high school and middle school administrator in Michigan, Florida, Georgia and Kentucky. He served as a Field Medic in the U.S. Army. He loved and cherished his family and they loved and cherished him. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Machellé, his children and their spouses: Denise Stevens Hatch, Diane [Ernst] Gonzales, Glenn [Judith] Stevens, Mike [Jeanette] Stevens, Deborah Stevens Bost, Timothy [Laura] Stevens, Matthew [Amanda] Stevens, and Jacob Stevens. Dan has twelve beautiful grandchildren and 15 sweet great grandchildren, and beloved extended family. Dan loved his family, friends and students with a servant’s heart. He is greatly missed, but we rejoice in knowing he is whole, healed and in the presence of Jesus, and we know we will one day be reunited. Arrangements entrusted to Veterans Funeral Care.
