Uncle Dave was always very kind to me when I was a child . though I didn’t see him as much as an adult I will always cherish the memories made as a kid when we swam in his pool with Wayne (RIP Wayne ) and the kind words he shared with me , &!the advice he would give. RIP David and may you Laura find peace in his passing as well as your little ones. He will always be with you and them.
David and I shared over twenty years together. We were married on July 7,2007 and remained so until a few years ago. Together we shared the joy of my nine grandchilds and one great grandson. David loved the visits of his daughter and Frankie his grandson. They spent hours playing dominos! David will be missed by many friends here in Monticello. He wanted to spend his final days at home. I kept my promise to be beside him, holding his hand as the call from heaven was answered. Rest in peace my dear friend. You looked so good in the picture taken on our wedding day. David is now in heaven with Wayne and his brother Mervin Lecornu. My prayers are with you Laura and your family.
We will greatly miss our dear customer and caring friend, who made us laugh, and showed us by his behavior and manner that he is a good soul. May that soul rest in eternal peace. To all of his friends and family, we offer our condolences.
David had a big heart and he often said that he always could trust to tell him the truth about anything. His health began to fail about five years ago when the Dr.told him he had a heart condition. He had A-Fib, a very unstable heart beat.and sleep apnea. He was in and out of the hospital over the past two years. His oxygen level dropped to 30 percent. He began to show signs of dementia that grew worse over the last 18 months. We were each other’s care givers! I had heart surgery before his medical problems became worse; then it was my turn to care for him. We felt blessed to have each other. His final wish was to be home when he was told he he had a very short time to live. I am so thankful that he got his wish.
