David Lloyd Mullis passed away February 16, 2021, at the James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital in Tampa. Born August 7, 1945, in Boston, to Lloyd and Virginia Mullis, he grew up in Nebraska. After moving to Florida in 1959, he graduated from Titusville High School in 1963. After serving in the Air Force in Oregon and Thailand, he had a career in the hospitality industry. Dave loved following the Rays, Buccaneers, and the Florida Gators. He is survived by brothers Robert (Denise), Stephen (Marcia), and sister Linda Kelly (Timothy), nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 10:00am at Bay Pines National Cemetery. Pastor Aemily Hotho will be officiating. Military Rite will be rendered.
I worked with David back in the late 90’s. He was a great co worker, had a big heart and would do anything to help someone in need. Prayers to his family. RiP David.
