Delia Nichols 61 of Largo, Florida passed away on March 24, 2016. Delia was always a hard worker. She worked at Hatfields & McCoy, Country Kitchen, Burger King and delivering papers.
Delia is survived by loving husband Robert “Bob” Nichols; children Ottie (Marsha) Orr, Shawn Orr, Melinda (William) Felstead, Freda “Michelle” (Matthew) Bowers, Ryan (Raven) and Jeffrey Nichols; grandchildren Natasha, Noah, Bailey, Alyssa, Braden, Abigale, Sarah, Taylor, Suzanne, Maria, Billy, Elizabeth, Tony, Amanda, Misty, and Joeseph; great-grandchildren Marissa, Mason, Christopher, Olivia, Josh and Victoria; uncle Ronald “Denver” Schoneur; sister Mary (Jack) Hess and Randy Shearn; sister-in-law Kathy Boobyer ,good friend Pat Regan, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Delia is preceded in death by her parents Marion Shearn Sr., and Oris (Schoneur) Shearn-Thompson; step-father Oscar Thompson; brothers Marion Shearn Jr., John and James Shearn; brother and sister-in-law Roger and Patricia Shearn; aunts Helen Baker and Lucille Randalls; uncles Frederick “Gary”, Glen, Charles and Roy Schoneur.
The family would like to thank Dr. Roma Palcan for going above and beyond during this difficult time. Also Empath Hospice with a special thanks to Hope (RN), Helen and Theresa.
In lieu of flowers the family would like for contributions to be made in Delia’s name to Suncoast Hospice 5771 Roosevelt Blvd., Clearwater, FL 33760.
I’m sorry for everyone’s loss she was a great person and always treated me like one of her own even though she didn’t have to. I wish I could have been around more but I’m glad that I had what time I did with her Raven Lizzy and me will always miss her

Dee was a wonderful person she was my Burger King MaMa. and always pointed me in the right direction. I love this lady as if she was my mom… I am so sorry that this has happened.. the family is in my prayers and thoughts everyday.. she always made work fun …
I really don’t know what to say. She was an awesome lady and gave her all in whatever she did. I know Bob and her family will great miss her greatly. Plus all the people that she gave her homemade cookies to. Just remember this, tell a loved one everyday you love them. Nobody knows when the last day is. Love you Bob.
