Mr. Dennis Andrew Soroka passed away at home on September 13th, 2019. He was 71 years old. “Denny” or “Big Den”, as he was often called, was born on May 26th, 1948 to Stanley and Betty Jean Soroka in Pennsylvania. He and his family came to Florida in the 1970s and settled in New Port Richey. During his working years, Denny was an Heating & AC technician and manager.
He was preceded in death by his son, Dennis Michael Soroka, after an accident in 2015 and father, Stanley. Denny leaves behind a loving family including his mother Betty; brothers Stanley & Thomas Soroka ; daughter Katie Jean Soroka; daughter-in-law Jamie (Booker) Soroka; grandchildren Dylan Coffey, Cassie Booker, and Simone Soroka; former spouse Dana Soroka and stepdaughter Reina Manning.
Those who knew and loved Dennis are invited to Veterans Funeral Care at 15381 Roosevelt Blvd in Clearwater for viewing & visitation on Sunday September 22nd, 2019 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm. In honor of his service in the US Navy, he will be interred at Bay Pines National Cemetery on Friday November 22nd, 2019 at 2:00pm. He will be laid to rest next to his son, Dennis Michael, allowing father and son to be at each others side forever.

Denny was my 1st real boyfriend. He had a 57 Chevy, he taught me to drive. He had a pair of “leather” pants he loved!! I knew the boy, I loved the boy, I will remember all the 1st I had with that kind, loving, funny boy. I am so sorry that you all lost him way to soon. Prayers and love.
Dennis was my brother and friend. I will miss you Big Den.
Dennis was my second son. I loved him very much. I remember so many things about him. I will miss dearly.
