Dennis Keith Luka, age 74, of Largo, FL passed away from natural causes on May 11th, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. Dennis was born on September 11th, 1949 in Detroit, Michigan to his parents Daniel and Ruth Luka. It was on July 13th, 1995 that he married his wife Carolyn Luka at the Little White Wedding Chapel on Orchard Lake Road in Redford, Michigan. They shared 29 years of marriage together. Dennis lived in Michigan, Georgia, and Florida. His hobbies included watching wrestling, war movies, and westerns. He was most proud of being a Marine and also for working for Ford Motor Company. What made Dennis unique was his self-described “lethally” pointed elbows. He is preceded in death by both his mom and dad, his sister, and his son, John. His survivors include his wife, Carolyn, his children, Ron, Connie, Holly, Angie, Alice, Johnny Lee, Jeffrey, and many more that felt like children to him. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Marine corps for helping him become the man he is today. A Memorial Service will be held in his honor on May 31st, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. located at Bay Pines National Cemetery. Semper Fi.
