VFW District Commander George Richard Wiltshire, 86, of Indian Rocks Beach, Florida has a funeral service at 10:00 AM, Friday, July 29, 2016 at the Bay Pines National Cemetery with Father Bob Swick and the Honor Guard of Veterans of Foreign War Post 2473, officiating. Please assemble at the cemetery from 9:30 AM until service time.
A native of Camden, New Jersey and local resident since 1960, when he moved here from Cape May, New Jersey. He was a Korean War Veteran serving in the US Army. During his military career, he was a diesel mechanic and was awarded the Army Occupation Medal for Germany. He was very active in the Veterans of Foreign War belonging to Post 2473 serving as the Post Commander and also serving the VFW as a District Commander for the State of Florida.
Predeceased in death by his parents, he is survived by his family; sons, Marc and Jay Wiltshire and his companion, Mary Ann Fekete.
