Donna Herrick (85) passed away on Friday October 1st , 2021, peacefully in her sleep. Donna lived her life
with a smile on her face, laughter in her heart and a deep desire to have fun. She resided in Gulfport
Florida at the time of her passing however she was a long -time resident of Largo, Florida.
Donna was born in 1936 in Norwich NY to Frank & Gertrude Bovee. She is one of six children born to this
union. During her childhood she loved singing and dancing, a joy instilled in her by her dad.
Mom never lost her love of singing, dancing, and having a good time. She always had a smile and a joke
for anyone she met.
In her later years, mom was blessed to spend time with not only her grandchildren but their children.
She was so proud of all of them. I know she will be looking down on all of you from the heavens.
Mom became MOM to so many people. I think at one time all our friends in a 30-block radius all called
her mom. Many came by for years afterwards to laugh and share in Mom’s advice. Yes, she had that way about her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Jack, James and David Bovee as well as her husband
and love of her life John Herrick.
She leaves behind her children D. Paulfan White (Tim), Ronald Hannon Jr (Joy), Alicia Bell (Steven) and
Lincoln Hannon (Mary). Her sister Susan Miller, brother Frank Bovee, grandchildren, great grandchildren
and numerous nieces and nephews.
As per her wishes Donna will be interred at Bay Pines Cemetery on Thursday October21st at 1:00PM. In
lieu of flowers, donations can be made to No Kill Shelters and services. Funeral Services: Veterans Funeral Care.
