Douglas Alan Hunt passed away on February 7, 2019 at 7:00 pm surrounded by his family. He was born on April 23, 1943 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, son of, Frank and Christine Hunt.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Nora, sons, Robert, Stephen, David and wife Jeannie, Linda and husband Mike Bell, Patty and husband Mickey Foltiny. Grandchildren include Ashley Bell, Derek and wife Julie Bell, Natalie and Meghan Hunt and Kellen and Trevor Hunt, Olivia, Brandon and Candace Foltiny and two brothers, Larry and wife Maureen, Tommy and wife Maryann, and many nieces and nephews.
Doug enjoyed Sunday mass. He loved to hear the homily. He was always smiling and loved when he made people laugh with his goofy sense of humor. He enjoyed the daily comics and loved to share the specials ones with family and friends. He will be remembered by his genuine kindness, his loving spirit, his beautiful smile, support for his family and friends and his positive outlook on life. He was a part of the United States Air Force Reserves in 1964-1970. He was a successful entrepreneur with several printing companies, his main company, The Printing Depot of Oldsmar.
A funeral mass will be held at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 750 San Salvador Dr, Dunedin, FL 34698 at 11:00am on Saturday, February 16, 2019.
He will be laid to rest at a date to be determined later.
In honor of Douglas, in lieu of flowers, his family asks for donations to the Suncoast Hospice North Pinellas, Brookside, 164 W. Lake Rd, Palm Harbor, FL 34684.
