Edward Donald Lalor, 87, passed away on September 30, 2018 at the Bay Pines VA Hospital. He was born December 3, 1930, in Boston, Massachusetts and was raised as an only child.
Ed retired as a Collection Manager from a NY Law Firm in 1993 after working there for many years. He spent the next 10 years going back and forth between his love for the NY mountains and Florida before he settled in Florida in 2003. He was a true Irish man and loved his corn beef and cabbage on St Patrick’s Day. Ed’s hobbies were: guns, hunting, camping, drawing, playing billiards and chess and getting a new car every time he needed an oil change.
He was preceded in death by two wives, Lorraine and Emma Louise; his parents, Edward and Alma; and one grandson Kevin. Edward is survived by his daughters Donna, Peggi, Alyce, Patricia, and Christine as well as two sons, Robert and Edward. He also is survived by 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Services, with Military Honors, will be held at 1:00PM on October 12, 2018, at the Long Island National Cemetery at Pine Lawn in Whyandanch, New York.
