I’m so sorry for your loss. Your family is in my prayers.
Ed was a special person. I have fantastic memories that we shared as we go way back. You will be greatly by so many especially the kids. You had a way of connecting no matter where you went. I remember you went to a race with us and I don’t think you saw much of it as a Dad came in with 2 small daughters and sat near us and you were interacting with them. You WERE a special. You will be MISSED. I can imagine what rejoicing in Heaven.
Sympathies Jean, Jenny, Keri & David, Garren, Evan, Silas, Eden
May you all feel God’s arms of comfort and strengt.
Jean and family, I am so sad to hear of our lovely Ed passing! You have our condolences from the Perlick family. I always enjoyed seeing Ed walk about the park at LHV in the mornings and his Uncle Sam getup for the 4th of July golf cart parade. HE so enjoyed wearing it (smile)! I will miss our chats as well. You have a big hug waiting at LHV, Jean when we get to see you in person to share our memories. I cannot say it any better than Brenda on his Bingo talents…and I am happy that I got to tell him personally what a talented Bingo caller he was this past summer. I meant every word. Bingo will not be the same without his patient, measured voice. We are with you in spirit, Jean!
Ed was one of the most wonderful man we have ever known. You both have been wonderful friends to us.
Ed will be greatly missed by Ron and I, Prince and Susie Marie will miss him also.
Our prayers 🙏 and love go out to you, and your family.
Wish we could be there with you at this time.
Love In Jesus name, Ron and Donna

Jean: Ed was a precious man and a dear friend of the nurses on our Hospice unit. I always felt safe leaving my patient w Ed sitting at the bedside. I know he had great faith in the Lord. It was obvious he was a godly man. He especially made me happy many times at Christmas when he came to the house (and my daughter’s house) and was Santa. A great Santa he was too! Love to you Jean and family. We know we will see Ed In Heaven! ❤️
Ruth Maddox RN Hospice for 20 years
Jean ,Joel and I are so very sorry for your loss. Ed was loved by so many people. We will miss talking to him on our walks. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all!
So sorry for your loss. I haven’t seen Ed in many years but have very fond memories at Aunt Ruthie’s Sunday lunches. You could always find Mr. Ed playing with all the kids. My son, Eddie, happened to be one of those kids. Since Ed’s passing I have found we have several mutual friends including my husband, Mark. Mark, who works at Bay Pines, meet Ed when Ed volunteered there. Ed has touched many lives and we be greatly missed. May Ed rest in peace and fly with the Angels. God Bless his family.
Sorry for your loss Mr Ed will be missed especially at Group PTSD.
I have alot of good memories with Ed when he volunteered in Hospice for so many years. Sometimes I would call him and ask him if he could come in because we had a veteran that didn’t have any family, he would show up so quick, drop any other plans he had, so caring. He lived close so he would bring the grandkids over for a visit when they were young. Ed will be missed by so many and I’m sad that I will not run into him walking here at Bay Pines. I know he is with Jesus and we will all see each other again someday. So sorry Jean and family, prayers for comfort and peace.
I write this with love, Kim Hammond (Hospice Clerk)
