Elizabeth (Liz) Ann Balcombe, age 47 years old, of Gulfport, FL died July 26 2025 following a cardiac event.
On August 19, 1977, she was born in Saint Petersburg, FL. The daughter of Mary Ann Keseleski and Ronald Balcombe.
Survivors include her son, Nolan, and his father, Eric; her mother, Mary Ann; her two brothers, Jason and Nick, and her stepsisters, Loretta, Georgia, and Lanette.
She was preceded in death by her father and stepmother, Ronald and Barbara, her brothers, Bobby and Kyle, and her grandparents, Helen and Bob Keseleski and Albert and Jeanette Balcombe.
Work History: Liz started her career in the United States Navy. After serving honorably in the Navy, Liz spent the next 20+ years working at Clearwater High School as a teacher and department chair in the English department. During this time, she co-chaired the F.A.M.E. Academy (Fine Arts and Media Education), was an advisor for The Principal’s Multicultural Advisory Committee (PMAC), and taught the AICE/Cambridge Honors program, where she inculcated a love for learning and knowledge in her students.
Church/Club/Organization memberships and leadership positions: Liz was an active member of the Most Holy Name Jesus Christ Catholic Church of Gulfport.
