Elizabeth (Nan) Strohler
February 10, 1930 – March 16, 2026
Elizabeth “Nan” Strohler, age 96, of Dunedin Florida, passed away on March 16, 2026,
surrounded by her loving family.
Born on February 10, 1930, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Adrian
and Angeline (Traupman) Lewis of Fountain Hill, PA. Elizabeth was a graduate of Central
Catholic High School in Allentown, PA. In the 1950s, she was employed as a key punch
operator at Bethlehem Steel Corporation, where she made many lifelong friends.
On July 12, 1952, Elizabeth married the love of her life, Donald Strohler, and together they
shared an extraordinary 72 years of marriage until his passing in June 2025. They built a
beautiful life and raised six children who were the center of Elizabeth’s world.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother Elizabeth was a wonderful
homemaker who poured her heart into caring for her family. She loved baking and sewing,
creating countless memories and traditions that her family will forever treasure. She cherished
time spent with family and friends, eagerly helping to organize family reunions and volunteering
at her church. When her grandchildren arrived, they quickly became the light of her life, and she
especially delighted in her role as “Nan.”
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Strohler, and her son-in-law,
David Januchowski, who passed in 2024.
She is survived by her six children: Donald Strohler Jr. (Kathleen), Lisa Januchowski, Susan
Felton (Harold), Thomas Strohler, Regina Wieller (James), and Daniel Strohler (Sharon); eleven
grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be held on April 25th at 11:00 AM at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic
Church in Clearwater Florida.
Her warmth, generosity, and devotion to family will live on in all who knew and loved her.
