Elizabeth (Nan) Strohler

February 10, 1930 – March 16, 2026

Elizabeth “Nan” Strohler, age 96, of Dunedin, Florida, passed away on March 16, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on February 10, 1930, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Adrian and Angeline (Traupman) Lewis of Fountain Hill, PA. Elizabeth was a graduate of Central Catholic High School in Allentown, PA. In the 1950’s, she was employed as a key punch operator at Bethlehem Steel Corporation, where she made many lifelong friends.

On July 12, 1952, Elizabeth married the love of her life, Donald Strohler, and together they shared an extraordinary 72 years of marriage until his passing in June 2025. They built a beautiful life and raised six children who were the center of Elizabeth’s world.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Elizabeth was a wonderful homemaker who poured her heart into caring for her family. She loved baking and sewing, creating countless memories and traditions that her family will forever treasure. She cherished her time spent with family and friends, eagerly helping to organize family reunions and volunteering at her church. When her grandchildren arrived, they quickly became the light of her life, and she especially delighted in her role as “Nan.”

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Strohler and son-in-law, David Januchowski, who passed in 2024.

She is survived by her six children: Donald Strohler, Jr. (Kathleen), Lisa Januchowski, Susan Felton (Harold), Thomas Strohler, Regina Wieller (James), and Daniel Strohler (Sharon); eleven grandchildren; and thirteen Great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at St. Michael the Archangel Church in Clearwater, Florida on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 11:00 am. A Memorial Mass will be held on June 30, 2026, in Bethlehem Pennsylvania.

Her warmth, generosity, and devotion to family will live on in all who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
