Erica Scaglione

Erica Sylvia Scaglione, beloved by all who knew her for her unwavering kindness and passion for music, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2024. Born on April 7, 1993, Erica’s life was a beautiful symphony of compassion and melody.

A true music aficionado, Erica’s soul found solace in the harmonies of life’s melodies. Whether it was the soothing notes of classical compositions or the vibrant beats of contemporary tunes, music was her constant companion. She shared her love for music generously, inspiring others to find joy in its rhythms.

Yet, it was Erica’s kindness that truly set her apart. Her heart was an endless wellspring of empathy, always ready to offer a listening ear, a comforting word, or a helping hand to those in need. Her acts of kindness, both big and small, touched countless lives and left an indelible mark on the hearts of many.

Beyond her love for music and her boundless compassion, Erica was a cherished friend, a devoted family member, and a pillar of strength in her community. Her absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but her spirit lives on in the memories she created and the lives she touched.

Erica is survived by her loving family, mother Stephanie Scaglione, a sister and brother-in-law Lauren and Anthony Dedea, a niece and nephew whom she adored Ava and Joseph, a loving cat she adopted named Sofie, and many more family members and wonderful friends, who will forever hold her dear in their hearts. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to music education programs in her honor, keeping her passion alive for generations to come.

As we bid farewell to Erica, let us remember her with smiles for the joy she brought through her voice in song, with gratitude for the kindness she showed, and with music in our hearts, echoing the melodies of her life. Rest in peace, dear Erica, your song will play on eternally.

God’s Garden

God looked around his garden
And found an empty place,
He then looked down upon the earth
And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering
He knew you were in pain.
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb.
So he closed your weary eyelids
And whispered, ‘Peace bethine’.
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn’t go alone,
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
