Farrell J. Malandro, age 91, of Clearwater, Florida, passed away peacefully surrounded by God’s love at Regency Oaks. A faithful servant of the Lord, devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and treasured friend, Farrell leaves behind a legacy of unwavering faith, kindness, and unconditional love.
Born on October 1, 1934, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Farrell was the beloved daughter of Wesley and Geneva Nuetzman. She was blessed to marry the love of her life, Joseph E. Malandro, in the Assembly of God Church. Together they shared an extraordinary 72 years of marriage, building a home centered on faith, love, and devotion to one another. Their enduring commitment served as an inspiration to all who knew them.
Farrell devoted her life to caring for her family as a homemaker. She found great joy in creating a warm and welcoming home where love was abundant and every family member knew they were cherished. Her greatest accomplishments were not measured in earthly achievements but in the lives she touched through her compassion, gentle spirit, and steadfast Christian faith.
A longtime member of Clearwater First Assembly of God, Farrell’s relationship with the Lord was the foundation of her life. She faithfully lived out her beliefs through acts of kindness, prayer, and service, offering encouragement to those around her. Her quiet strength, gracious heart, and unwavering trust in God’s promises will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Farrell is lovingly survived by her devoted husband, Joseph “Joe” E. Malandro; her sons, Randy (Chris) Malandro of Stockton, California, Steve (Sondra) Malandro of Dadeville, Alabama, and Tony (Tonya) Malandro of Plainfield, Illinois; her sisters, Alice Spillman & Sandra Heil; her son-in-law, Levi Rice; nine beloved grandchildren; and fourteen cherished great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy and pride.
She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Cheryl Rice, whom she now joins in the eternal peace and presence of the Lord.
Though her family grieves her passing, they rejoice in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ and take comfort in knowing she has been welcomed into her heavenly home with the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Her love, faith, and beautiful example will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Farrell’s life during a visitation on Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service beginning at 11:00 a.m., at Veterans Funeral Care, 830 N. Belcher Road, Clearwater, Florida 33765. Farrell will be laid to rest at Bay Pines National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in honor of Farrell’s compassionate and giving spirit.

Joe,
Kim and I are heartbroken for your loss. I want you to know that every man who knows you, knows what a wonderful husband you were. You served Farrell. You waited on her. You are an inspiration to all the men at the church. We pray Gods peace over you, having lost Cheryl first and now your beloved Farrell. I look forward to our next breakfast or lunch together my dear friend.
Jim
Our condolences to your family. We know Farrell will be missed by all.
I remember, from as far back as our family visits when I was a child, how kind, caring and welcoming aunt Farrell was to our family, and especially to my sister Linda, brother Duane and myself …. She’s at peace now I know, but we are truly sorry for your loss.
Joe, Levi, Courtney & the Entire Family,
My heartfelt sympathy & condolences to you all on the loss of sweet Farrell. Joe, I have never seen a man & husband honour his marriage vows to his wife like you have for 72 years of marriage. You have sustained some tremendous losses over the past several weeks, though PLEASE KNOW you are loved, respected and being prayed for by so many people. Does our heart feel loss? Yes, while we are still in our earthly home, we feel the pain, grief and sadness. Thankfully, God tells us, “ya, though we WALK THROUGH the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for THOU ART WITH ME”. God’s right there with you all, holding you ALL, & will walk you through this. My love, thoughts & continued prayers are with you all. May God bless you all. Beth
