LCDR Francis Leverone, USCG (Ret.), 86, of Seminole past away on October 20, 2016 while at home under Hospice. Frank is survived by his daughter Joan Leverone of Bradenton, FL; brother Richard (Joanne) Leverone of St. Petersburg, FL; and predeceased by his brother Albert Leverone (Navy) and sister Dorothea Reyes.
After retiring from the Coast Guard, Frank spent nearly 20 years as a volunteer Police Officer with the Largo Police Department. A funeral mass is scheduled for Friday, October 28, 2016 at 2:00 with a visitation beginning at 1:30 at Holy Family Catholic Church in St. Petersburg. Military honors will be provided by the United States Coast Guard.
