Francis John “Jack” Marcotte of Tierra Verde, Florida, departed this life on February 15, 2019 at the age of 76. He was born on September 11, 1942 in Omaha Nebraska to Maxine and Delphis Marcotte.
Jack attended Florida State University where he was involved in the ROTC and went on to serve in the United States Air Force from May 29, 1964 thru September 9, 1968. He was a proud American with a lifelong love of his country and its’ military.
Jack worked as an insurance agent for Mutual of Omaha and was an owner of All Risk Administrators along with his wife Karen Douglas Marcotte whom he wed on April 9th, 1983. He enjoyed Golf, watching NASCAR and football, and was a member of the American Legion.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Maxine and Delphis. Survivors include: his wife Karen of the home; 3 children: Daughter Shannon and husband Don Dome of Chicago, Illinois, Son Christopher and wife Angela of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Son Evan and wife Lana of Lakewood Ranch, Florida; 1 Grandchild: Zachary of Jonesboro, Arkansas; 4 Siblings: Brother Dennis and wife Cynthia of Tampa, Florida, Sister Karen Rivas of Murrieta, California, Sister Kathy and husband Jeff Kaplan of Bolingbrook, Illinois, and Brother Jim and wife Janet of New Orleans, Louisiana; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Services and Interment will be at Bay Pines National Cemetery in St. Petersburg, Florida on March 12, 2019 at 1:00PM.

I haven’t seen Jack in a long time but I remember being a nice easy going guy just like hie dad, Del. Sorry he had to leave us so early. My condolences to the family.

Jack and I were friends at Jesuit. Although I hadn’t seen Jack in a while, I was sad to hear that he left us. Jack was a great guy. I’ll remember Jack in my thoughts and prayers.
