Frank J. Dirr, 91, of Dunedin, FL died on July 17th, 2022 following a short illness. On April 17, 1931 he was born in Brooklyn, NY, the son of the late John and Anna Dirr. On October 11, 1958, he married Barbara Liebold at the Sacred Heart Church. Together, they shared 63 years of marriage.
Frank worked at Citibank for 40 years, he started out sorting checks and worked his way up to Assistant Vice President. He was also a Lecter and Eucharistic Minister at St. Lucie Church.
Frank spent his life in Long Island, Georgia, and Florida. He loved singing, fishing, and baseball. Frank was a quiet, honest, and hardworking man who loved being around his family. Frank was a Proud United States Marine and served our country in Korea.
A Memorial Mass will be held in his honor on Monday, July 25th, 2022 at 11:00 AM at All Saints Catholic Church in Palm Harbor, FL.
He was predeceased by his son- Michael.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara, children- Marianne, Kathy, David, and Joanne, Sons-in-law- Frank, Mike, and John, Daughter-in-law, Joan, and grandchildren- Mary, Frankie, Rebecca, Christine, Nicole, Michelle, Rachel, Eric, and Sarah.
