Francis Morgante, age 75, of Largo, FL passed away on November 7th, 2022 in his home. On June 1st, 1947, he was born in New Britain, Connecticut, the son of Antonio and Rose (Colosimo) Morgante.
On January 4th, 1986, he married Gabriele Willburth at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Together they shared 36 years of marriage.
Frank was a US Army Veteran and also worked at the James Haley Veteran’s Hospital. While Frank was born in Connecticut and lived there until he joined the Army, he lived most of his life after the military in Florida; he also lived in Georgia for a year.
Frank enjoyed going to the beach to watch the sunrise and sunset, he also loved gardening and planting flowers. His proudest achievements were his love for his family and country. Frank was a wonderful family man and provider. He always put the needs of his family first. He was the first-born American in a family of Italians.
He is preceded in death by his parents- Antonio and Rose Morgante. Frank is survived by Gabriele Morgante, Tiffany Morgante, Lily Morgante, Savannah, Mata, Taylor Mata, Amanda Moore, Kenneth Moore, Kenny Moore, and Bella Moore.
Services will be held in his honor at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL on Monday, November 21st, 2022 at 10:00 AM.
