Frank Stewart Obituary
On Monday, January 22nd, we lost one of the good ones. Or, I should say, one of the BEST ones. Frank was diagnosed with Cancer during the second week of August and lost the battle with this dreaded disease in the very early morning of January 22nd.
Frank was a husband, a father, a grandfather and a brother. His wife Kim, was the light of his life more than 30 years. Then, along came his amazing kids, Julia, 26, Jasmine, 21 and Francis, 18. Then, in 2023 along came another light in his life, Harmony, Jasmine’s beautiful daughter. 2023 brought him and his family great joy, until his diagnosis. From the treatment dates until his untimely death, it went too fast. Once Pneumonia sets in, a comeback is very difficult.
Frank was also a brother. Two sisters and two brothers, Treesh, Richard, Robert and Kelly. He was the best of us. The kindest person we knew and we loved him more than anything. He was also a well loved uncle to his neices and nephews Uncle TT/FiFi was a hit with the kids.
Frank started life in West Nyack, New York where he had many, many friends. Mom and Dad moved him and Kelly in 1976. Once in Clearwater, he once again made many, many friends and they stayed friends for life.
Frank was in recovery for more than 30 years as well. We celebrated his sober birthdays in September, each year. We were all so proud of him.
Frank’s work path would take him into the label printing business. He rose through the ranks and took over his plant and when they moved the plant to Ohio, the company kept him as a liaison between the Florida companies and the Ohio plant.
He went to work for another company some years ago and was, of course, really well liked and did very well there.
One of Frank’s best sayings was “Do SOMETHING even if it’s wrong.” We laughed over that one for many years.
Frank loved music his whole life. He loved nothing better than rocking out on his drums which was evidenced by his big beautiful smile when he got a chance to play. We know there’s a rock and roll heaven where he will Jam and smile forever. Rock on brother.
Frank, you are and will be SO missed and the pain of your loss won’t ease up any time soon. Say hi to those who went before you. I know Mom and Dad met you with loving smiles and open arms we all love you and will see you again one day.
Frank you will truly be missed in this life !! You where a family man who loved his family so much and a stand up guy who treated everyone with respect and care. You where a great boss at GBS from pressman to Plant manager you never changed 1 bit of your love and personality as you rose from the ranks !!! Condolences to his beautiful family may your memories continue to shine on Frank was a good man RIP
