Frank W. Roth, 93, of Largo, FL died on June 30, 2012 at the Bay Pines VA Health Care System, Bay Pines, FL from natural causes. His services are 2:30 PM, Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513 with the United States Marine Corps Honor Guard providing full military honors.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio and a local resident since 1953, when he moved here from Kingsville, Ohio; he was a Baptist; a Carpenter and a US Navy veteran of World War II. Earning the rank of Seaman 1st Class, he was awarded a World War II Victory Medal.
He is survived by his loving family; his wife of 73 years, Olive of Largo, FL; a son, Jerry Roth and his wife, Patricia of Largo, FL; a daughter, Diana Rountree and her husband, John of Lake Mary, FL; two brothers; Walter Rutkowski and Stanley Rutkowski, both of Kingsville, OH; a sister, Julia Judd of Cleveland, OH; five grandchildren- Robert McGregor Sr., Sharon Evans, Terresa Ragan, Deborah Roth (and John Heger), and Kristina Roth (and Steve Young); and seven great grandchildren Robert McGregor Jr., Anthony Evans, Patrick Ragan, Dillion Ragan, John Ragan, Julia Ragan and Philip Young.

Frank was a great man with wonderful stories. He was a faithful attandee at Rainbow Village Church, until his health prohibited him from coming. He will be dearly misse by family and his Rainbow Village family. We know his suffering is over and he dwells in heaven with his Lord and Savior. God Bless

I WAS READING THE PAPER THIS EVENING AND SAW ABOUT FRANK’S PASSING. ED & I (WITH CHARLIE) HAD THE REM TRACKS (GO kART TRACK) IN CLWR. FRANK WOULD FLAG OUR RACES AND OLLIE WOULD SCORE. WE HAVE SUCH GREAT MEMORIES OF THOSE TIMES. OUR PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU. ED & WENDY THAYER.
My son, Bob, was a gokart racer when Frank was flagman. I have forwarded the obit to Bob in Virginia and we both send our condolences to Frank’s family.
I know he is in a better place and is free from pain and all suffering. I am sure he is happy with the lord.

Hello, I didn’t really know my grandpa, but I loved him.
Papa Roth was VERY SPECIAL to us! It was always a wonderful JOY to have him sitting there with us on our 3rd row RothBlowers “pew”. We are so thankful for the JOY of having met him and having been blessed by his beautiful faith and love for the Lord! He was a beautiful Christian and inspiration! We will MISS HIM greatly!!!
