Fred W Kollhopp born in NYC February 15, 1929 & died after a 3 year courageous battle with cancer at Bay Pines Veteran’s Hospice in Florida on April 21, 2017.

Fred was the owner of Sea Realty with 5 offices from Westhampton to Montauk. He was a founding member of Eastern Suffolk Board of Realtors & active in the Long Island Board of Realtors as well as a member of FIABCI, an International group of Realtors. He belonged to all five Chamber of Commerce’s. He is a member of the Southampton Elks & on the Vestry of St Johns church in Southampton. After retirement, he volunteered for the Dominican Sisters & Human Services. He was a gentle soul & was full of kindness.

He leaves behind his wife Patricia “the love of his life”, his step children TR Pescod of Southampton and Laura Pescod of St Petersburg , Florida and grand daughter, Carter; sons Frederick and William Kollhopp in Nevada, daughter Kathy Mascali of Port Charlotte, Florida, and stepmom Harriot Kollhopp. His daughter Rose Kollhopp predeceased him. He has 9 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be held at The Cathedral of St. Peter, 140 4th Street N, St. Petersburg, FL, 33701, at 4:30PM on Friday, April 28, 2017.  The Rev. Canon Sam Tallman will be the officiant.

In lieu of flowers, Fred requested planting a small evergreen or tree on public lands for all to enjoy or make a donation to PBS, his favorite & only station he would watch or listen to.
