Bro. Freddie James Sr., Son of the Late Henry James Sr. and the Late Eloise James. He was born on February 8, 1948 in Center Hill, FL. He departed this life on July 2, 2015 with his family by his side.
Bro. James was one out of 21 kids. Mr. James was in the Army from 1971 – 1976 when he was honorably discharged with four medals: The Vietnam Service Medal W/1 Bronze Battle Service Star; The National Defense Service Medal; The Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal and The Expert (Rifle) Award. Freddie was a Heavy Equipment Operator for Dixie Lime & Stone and he enjoyed fishing.
Mr. Freddie James leaves to Mourn his passing five daughters: Cynthia James, Tamala James, Tequila James, Candice James, and Lakeisha James; and three sons: Tyrone James, Freddie James Jr., and Fredrick James; three step-daughters: Regina Harterson, Angel McLean, and Tempress (Ron) Lewis; and one stepson: Dwayne (Maranda) Harterson; and 21 grandchildren. He also leaves behind five sisters: Elvira James, Elouise (Thomas) Gaddy, Josephine (Pastor Johnny) Gaddy, Dorothy Jean Alexander, and Beatrice Harris; three brothers: Ralph (Loretta) James Sr., Walter (Delois) James, Alexander “Pete” (Jenny) James; a beloved niece and god-daughter, Ms. Catina Gaddy; beloved friend, Ms. JoAnne Weeks and her two kids, her two grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends.
A gathering of friends and family will be from 5-7 PM on Friday, July 10, 2015 at One Step at a Time Holy Ghost Filled Ministry, 112 N. Adams Street, Bushnell, FL 33513. Services will follow at 11 AM on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at St. James Baptist Church, 416 E. Southland Avenue, Bushnell. Interment will take place at Florida National Cemetery at a later date.
With heart felt sympathy to my family may God bless each and everyone of us in our time of Loss. I miss uncle Freddie so much, but I know that God want put no more on us then we are able to bear. So let us Pray for one another that we make it throw this okay.
