George Daniel Reale of Beverly Hills, Florida, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at the age of 94. He was born on February 17, 1928, in New Britain, Connecticut, the fourth of four
sons of Mary and Salvatore Reale. He was a graduate of Bates College and served as an Air Force pilot in the Korean War where he earned a Purple Heart. He worked for John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company for 33 years, beginning as a sales agent in Manchester, Connecticut, later serving as a district manager in Hyannis, Massachusetts, and East Providence, Rhode Island before concluding his career as field president of the Great Lakes Region based in Chicago, Illinois.
After retiring to Florida in 1988 George kept busy by running the Beverly Hills Golf League at Pine Ridge for 13 years. He enjoyed traveling, loved to play golf, tell stories, spend time with
friends, and was very proud to be an American. George was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Joseph and Louis, and son Richard. He is survived by Lee Reale, his wife of 40 years, his brother Albert, his son Thomas, his daughter Cynthia Haskell, and stepson Jason Murgo.
