Geraldine Travers, 78, of Largo, FL passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2015. Born in New Bedford, MA, she moved here from Dartmouth, MA in 2005. She worked as a seamstress for ELCO Dress, Inc. in New Bedford, MA for 27 years. She was an active member of Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church in Seminole, FL. She enjoyed playing bingo, bowling, knitting, watching soap operas, game shows, doing crossword puzzles, and reading romance novels.
Survivors include her husband, Gordon of Largo; one daughter, Heidi of Massachusetts; two sons: Wayne of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Scott of Clearwater, FL; one grandchild: Addison Kaeterle of Massachusetts; a sister: Diane Rezendes of Massachusetts; two brothers: David Silva and Ronald Pereira of Massachusetts.

I enjoyed knowing Geraldine thru my co worker Gordon. She was always very pleasant. I enjoyed talking with her. You will be in my thoughts

Gerry was a nice person and a lot of fun. We had many laughs at bingo.
I know she is playing bingo in heaven now. We will all miss you at St. Catherine’s.

Geraldine was like a mother to me…..I have known Scott for over 20 years in Dartmouth, MA and for years now has lived in Clearwater FL. She will be missed terribly. Me and my wife, Erica, send our condolenses to the Travers family….we love you all.
