Gerhardt Paul Kreher Jr. flew fighter jets, raised four boys, got a 180 on his LSAT, got the weather girl from TV to marry him, built little treasure boxes for all his nieces, put 400,000 miles on his little truck, spoiled his ridiculous little dog, was the best big brother in the world, ran a wilderness camp, ran the Peachtree Road Race, ran a tight ship at breakfast, taught kids who thought they couldn’t learn, never stopped whistling, threw the highest whoooos you ever saw, pushed duct tape and shoe glue to their limits, loved the mountains, loved the ocean, loved a dirty joke, hated email, saw the good in (almost) everyone, was sweet to his mama, took after his daddy, brewed beer, smoked cigars, read Louis L’Amour, could talk to anybody (and did), and was a shining light upon this earth. To our G Paul, Yossarian, GrandPaul, and Dad: it could never, ever be enough. But it was always sufficient. We love you.

Paul’s peaceful presence will be greatly missed. He made me feel very welcome at Unity with his hugs & Max’s presence.
Keeping you in my prayers. Paul was an incredible neighbor to my Mom and Dad in Blairsville. My boys and I always looked forward to seeing Paul during our visits.
Always kind and teasing them with funny nicknames.
May your memories bring you comfort.
With love, Julie
I can only hope G-Paul knows how many of the Moore’s lives he touched in such memorable ways. My grandmother Tweetie, Uncle Robert, both my sisters, and my cousins… He was such a vital part of the Mill Springs family for such a long time, which in turn made him a part of our family as well. I just know you are somewhere making sure everyone knows the sky is green and the grass is blue. Sending many hugs and prayers to everyone who loves and knows you ❤️
G Paul has changed many lives at MSA. I knew Gail as she was my teacher at school and I know how much she loved g Paul.
