On November 22, 1968, in Lakeland, Glenda married the love of her life, Charles Braun. Together, they built a life filled with love and dedication that spanned 58 beautiful years. Their union was blessed with a son, Craig, and his wife, Andrea, along with two adored granddaughters, Bethany Braun-Kent and Rebekah Braun. She is also survived by her brother Jim Bellew. Glenda’s family was her proudest achievement, and she cherished every moment spent with them, nurturing and guiding them with her endless love and wisdom.
Glenda’s career as an accountant at The Heritage Presbyterian Foundation was marked by dedication and excellence. For 40 years, she contributed her skills and expertise to the Foundation, leaving a legacy of professionalism and integrity. Her commitment to her work was matched only by her passion for the beauty of nature. Glenda you were like a sister to me, esp when both my sisters passed away. I loved your calming voice and esp your encouragement to me over these years. We texted each other all the time and phone calls. My friends were your friends and they all loved you. Ever Friday night before I went to work you always texted or called me to tell me you were praying for me to have a good work week. I still look at my phone for those messages. You would always call me or text me to pray for Craig or Charlie or others. Im sad you’re gone but my sisters and other family members are happy in happy right now. Loved you so much im a little lost. I will do my best to always be here for Charlie and Craig and Andrea. 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
Charlie, Craig, and Andrea –
We are so sorry for your untimely loss. Glenda was such a beautiful soul and a delight to everyone around her. We are sending you all big warm bear hugs!!! – Mike and Robyn
Glenda was so proud of her family. In most pics she is holding onto Charlie’s arm, so proud of her husband. If you ask about Craig take a seat, no greater love for her son. Glenda liked to be silly and heart felt giggle when she laughed. Thank you for being a “sister ” to Dee Braun. You are missed. Heaven is home now with Jesus and family.
A beautiful lady gone too soon. So sorry for your loss. Praying for y’all
We remember Glenda as always smiling and ready to laugh! Even though we were not together often, we will miss her. Your family continues to be in our prayers.
So sorry for the loss of your mom Craig. Your mom was such a sweet person and I know she will be sorely missed.
Charlie, Craig and Andrea; it has been so difficult to watch the three of you go through the last several months with your mother being so ill then getting a little better, then a setback, then better and so it goes. I know she is in heaven and out of any pain and discomfort and smiling down on her beloved family. I hope you take solace and knowing she is with our Heavenly Father, waiting for all of us to join her. She was a lovely and poised woman of God who will most definitely be missed. Many blessings to you all.
