Beloved husband Gregory Welker, 61, of Sunbury, PA, entered into God’s Kingdom on July 23, 2022 after a long illness. Gregory joined the Navy in 1978 and afterwards was a Nuclear Power Plant auditor.
A Navy submariner on the USS Michigan SSBN 727, he was an extraordinary person, husband, father, brother, and friend who will be forever missed.
Gregory was predeceased by his parents, William and Lenora and his brother Keith. He is survived by his loving wife, Suzie Welker, his two children Mark and Becky Welker, his stepson Hunter Young, and his sister Jennifer Cool as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Interment will be at Bay Pines Cemetery in St. Petersburg , FL. Gregory was well-loved and will be deeply missed.
My beloved Greggie. I still can’t believe that you are gone. I love you so much that it hurts. Even if God gave us an eternity together it still wouldn’t be long enough, but I so treasured the time that we got to spend together. I thank God for you and I know that you are happy in Heaven with your glorified body free from illness. I will always love you…until we meet again my love.
