Harold M. “Buddy” Miner


Harold (Buddy) M. Miner, 69, of The Villages Florida passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Promise Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Harry Miner and Helen Miner. Buddy and his beloved wife, Marie (Siciliano) Miner we’re married on June 5, 1971.

He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After finishing his service and returning home he worked for Holmes and Bay Ridge private ambulance companies in Brooklyn, NY. He then served as a volunteer for the Bradley Gardens rescue squad and Country Hills fire department in Bridgewater, NJ. He also work as a Corrections Officer in Rahway and Clinton, NJ. After making The Villages, FL their new home in 2005 he worked as a small engine repair mechanic at The Villages Golf Cart Repair, before retiring in 2011.

He enjoyed playing golf with his friends and family but most of all he loved spending time with his wife, daughters, sons-in-law and his five granddaughters who he cherished more then life itself.

In addition to his loving wife, Marie, he is survived by his two daughters, Stephanie and husband Chris Pucci of Bethlehem, PA; and Lindsay and husband Alex Pereira of Glen Gardner, NJ. He was a loving Pop Pop to Kendall, Paige, Olivia, Ella and Adaline. He is also survived by his sister Helen Diver. He is predeceased by his sister Peggy Croushore.

Visiting hours and Funeral Service will be held on Saturday March 16, 2019 at 10:00AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem, PA.
