Dear Friends and family of Herb
This is a ‘TWILIGHT ZONE” moment for me. Having tried for months without success, to reach Herb by phone and email I thought I’d just take a chance and check Florida obits. And here it is one day after his memorial service in Clearwater that I see he has passed.
I am a fraternity brother of Herb’s.I will pass the information of his passing to our many mutual friends.
Please accept my sincere condolence. I would like very much to hear from someone in his family that kept in touch with him.
Thank you very much
Arthur Sheldon (305) 235-3535
Herb and I were fraternity brothers in Ravens at Miami High and also in PiLamdaPhi at UF. We kept in touch by phone and email. We also played football at Miami High. I was one year ahead of Herb in school. We were both lawyers. Herb always palled around with Arthur Levine and Joel Rabin, and they were always together in school. Herb will be missed.
When Herb was the Deputy Attorney General of the State of Florida he hired me as an Assistant AG to work in Tampa. Our friendship developed from that. I watched his sons become men. His professional life was without blemish and he was a mentor of all time.
Godspeed, old friend.
