Homer R. Daniels Jr., 82, of Tampa, Florida passed away at the Hudson Manor, Tampa, Florida on December 9, 2016.
Homer was a Korean War Veteran serving in the United States Army; a Catholic and a retired baggage handler for Delta Air Lines.
Predeceased by his parents, Homer and Cletia (Lewis) Daniels and siblings, he is survived by his loving family: a daughter, Rachel Lynn Davis of Plant City, Florida; a sister, Cletia Lowery of Tampa, Florida; two grandchildren: Dylan Davis and Morgan Davis and a special niece, Cara Naylor of Tampa, Florida..

Rachael, I knew & loved your father for a long time & knew he was a loving and very strong man. I know he loved all his family and was a very devoted father. He will be missed greatly. Much love to you and all of your family.
Dearest Cletia, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Lewis and Homer Jr. I send my love and sympathy to you. Your Mom and Dad and brothers were always good to me as were you also.
Lewis and your Mom paid a visit to my Mom at Gray Court one afternoon that I happened to be there also. The date was Jan. 2006. Your Mom looked great as did Lewis. I have a copy of the picture. I regret I did not take one of him that day. It was very kind of them to come see Hazel. She was 91 and failing then and it really made her day – to have Cletia and Lewis visit. Hazel passed away April 11, 2006. So you see, it meant a lot to her and to me to have Cletia & Lewis come to spend time. I know what a thoughtful person Lewis was.
I regret I was unable to attend the Celebration of Lewis’ Life service. It would take pages of text to cover all my fond thoughts about you and your dear family. The losses of all of you saddens me greatly.
