Fair wind & following seas to my friend Horace of 70 yrs. We were great boys together and friends to the end. All my love to his family. LOL Tom
The best memories I have of my Uncle Horace is when I was a kid and he would take us places in the summer. One time we went to Coney Island in New York and I wanted to go on the parachute jump ride but I was afraid to go and he took me to the line and held my hand and we went on the ride together. It was a wonderful day and a great adventure. I will miss his laugh and his kind heart. Love you Uncle Horace.
We have many fond and loving memories of Uncle Horace and will miss him very much. God Bless you and keep you ever near, Uncle. You will forever be in our hearts.
Love,

I worked with Horace a few times and he was a fantastic gentleman to be with. I was a longtime co-worker with Ron and it was easy to see that father and son were very proud of each other and that both were right!! Go in peace friend Horace…a life well lived and eternity with your Saviour well earned.

POP, I know you are in a better place now. It hurts my heart that I was not able to be there and be able to say good bye. You were more to me than my own grandfather was. Even thought things did not work out the way they should have, I never had a doubt that you cared for me as one of your own. I promised you that I would finish nursing school, and I am. And as I was across that stage, I will keep a picture of you in my jacket pocket. I will always love you. God be with you. Colby
My Deepest sympathies to the Lalley family.
I have many fond memories stored away in my mind.
My prayers go out to all of you.
Sincerely, Missy
Condolences to the Lalley Family, thank you for keeping the children safe and you will be missed very much by everyone.

Gone from our sight, but never from our heart. Words can not express how much we will miss you. Your a true hero, great grandpa, and a wonderful person. My family will always be thinking of you, and we will be praying everyday for your sympathy.
As teenagers, Horace and I participated in a musical combo specializing in Polish music. He played alto saxophone and was a member of the Polish American String Band in Philadelphia. In 1952, he sponsored me into joining the Band from another Mummers’ Band, to which I am enternally grateful. Our close relationship resulted in Horace being selected into my wedding party in 1956. After which we still played together until he moved to Florida in 1974, creating a great void in my life. We remained close friends and corresponded regularly by email, messaging and phone, since he never could get Philadelphia out of his heart, nor could I get him out of my heart.
Thank God he has been blesssed with such a loving family, keeping his memory alive forever. Horace, you will be greatly missed, even a thousand miles away. Fairwell, my friend…..God Bless
Dad,
I’m addressing this to you in the hope that you are looking down on these knowing that the entries should forever wipe away any thoughts that you may have ever had that you were truly loved and cared for. Willie and I will surely miss the hardy laugh that you had and the times I shared with you going down Broad Street in the Mummers Parade. We really miss you, and you can rest assured that Mom will be taken care of and watched over. Rest in peace Dad. It has been a very painful road that you have had to travel lately, and now you are not in pain anymore. We are all sure that we know where you are so please kiss Nan, Pop, and Grandmom Lalley for us.
P.S. Give Ralph a taffy for me.
The cycle of life has prevailed once again: the day you went home was the day little David Jurek III was born – perhaps your souls crossed paths along the way. Our families have been together for over twenty years – truly we will miss you.
It is always so sad when a loved one passes; however, there is also joy knowing that you are home with our Lord…and that you will be waiting to see each of us as well. Lots of love always, Linda
Pop,
Thank you for all your training. You will never be forgotten. With love always.
I have only the happiest memories of spending time with you… Christmas up north, the Jersey Shore, and living two doors down for many years. May the Lord bless you and keep you. Rest in Peace, Uncle Horace.
I am so sorry for your lost. My prayers and thoughts are with you all. He will be missed and was always so sweet to me.

My condolences to the entire Lalley family. We have lost a great man and a neighbor who would help anyone in need. He will always be remembered as the one who introduced me to the Polish American String Band. I will never forget the fun times in Wildwood, at the Dot Spot. I am sure that he is entertaining many in heaven with his saxophone, playing Maria Elena and Tick Tock Polka.

We will miss Horace dearly, he was “grandpa, and a very close friend to our family.
He touched the lives of so many in his time on earth.
It says in his obit that Hank (he was known as Hank to me and the rest of the guys in the PA String Band)
was a renowned sax player. I played with Hank every Sunday in the summer for 5 years in a little place called Dot Spot in West Wildwood NJ. Had not heard from Hank in years but had the chance to speak to him within the last year. He was as warm and friendly as ever. I will always have fond memories of my friend Hank; a great sax player and an even greater person. Condolences to Lil and the family.
